Futures forum
Got an idea that shouldn’t work yet? We want it.
Co-curated by Innovation Nursery with Making Futures, Arts University Plymouth’s international research platform for craft, materials, and the maker movements changing how we live with matter.
Futures Forum is looking for 10 innovators with the kind of ideas that make a room go quiet. Three minutes. Three slides. Poster-style, this isn't a pitch deck for something polished. It's a stage for something unfinished. The material that's still raw. The theory you've only said out loud to yourself. The project that's 20% built and 100% convinced.
What we want:
A new idea, project or theory. Emergent, experimental, early.
Something that creates collisions - with other disciplines, other people in the room, other ways of thinking about materials, making, and what comes next.
Bring the mess. Bring the ambition. Leave the certainty at home.
What YOU GET:
3 minutes on stage in front of the room that matters.
Panel clinic feedback from guest judges: Laura Whyte, John Brown, Aurélie Fontan and Stephanie Owens.
One winning idea walks away with an Innovation Nursery annual membership - collaboration, showcase and a seat at the table where Cornwall’s next materials future gets built.
